Noranda sits on the gentle slopes around Walter Road in the City of Bayswater, about 10 km north-east of the CBD. It was orchard and market-garden country, and most of its houses went up between the 1960s and the 1980s. Since then, unit developments have grown up around the Morley Galleria side of the suburb.
Need an electrician in Noranda? Most homes are separate family houses, with townhouses filling in on subdivided blocks and a steady share of units.
In the 1960s and 70s builders put up project homes here, some with designs that were very modern for their time. The electrics in those homes are now 40 to 70 years old: boards may lack full RCD protection, and kitchens and living areas often have too few outlets for how people live now.
We check the board and test the older circuits, then quote what's needed to bring the house up to date, from a board upgrade to extra circuits in the kitchen.
How it works
No back-and-forth, no chasing quotes, no cowboy pricing. Enquire today, get a clear fixed price fast, and we'll have a licensed sparky on site, often within the same week.

Quick call, message or online form, takes two minutes. Tell us the job (or the problem) and we'll be straight back to you.
We inspect, then hand you one clear all-in price up front. What we quote is what you pay, zero surprise line items.
A licensed electrician does the work to AS/NZS 3000, tests every circuit and leaves your place cleaner than they found it.
The area around Westfield Noranda has filled with apartment towers since the 1970s, and more than a quarter of Noranda homes are now flats or apartments. Inside an apartment the work is usually lighting, extra outlets, appliance connections and fault finding.
Concrete ceilings in apartment towers limit where new lights can go, so extra lighting usually means surface-mounted fittings, track lighting or reusing existing points. We'll explain what's practical before quoting.
Tell us about building access and parking when you book, and we'll come prepared for the building's rules.
About one in five Noranda homes is a townhouse or semi. If you're adding a car charger, we check your supply and switchboard capacity first, then run a dedicated circuit to the garage or carport.
If solar or a battery is on your list, tell us now, because it affects how we lay out the board.
